Collection of hearts. My daughter gave me a love heart – a lovely sugary sweet – which   invokes a wonderful nostalgia of our childhood. The graphic of a heart is a simple visual for love, as we understand it when we are younger, yet is layered with more complex ideas as we grow older.

In creating this series, I have selected elements that carry a visual and psychological significance: the places we come from that have meaning in our lives, the things we fear losing or the things we have lost.
